4500 More Trees Planted !

We are so excited to announce we have planted another 4500 Trees! We want to thank you and our team, this would not have been possible without all of you!

One of our sustainability efforts is to give back to the planet by planting a tree for every sold monogram. With some help from our friends at OneTreePlanted.org, your monograms have helped us plant 13700 new trees! Here are some of the amazing places we were able to give back to this year.

This has been a very difficult time for many, especially in the US. In 2020, California, Oregon and Washington had to deal with very destructive and fatal forest fires. Reforestation in these areas helps to create a healthy environment after the soil and landscape has been damaged. We were able to plant 1600 trees in these areas!

In Ethiopia, we planted 900 trees! Southern Ethiopia and the Amahara region suffer from dry and unpredictable climates, poor soil fertility, ineffective land management practices and lenient resource regulations. These all have severe impacts on the deforestation in Ethiopia.

The breathtaking Amazon Rainforest is a region with 1.9 billion acres of rainforest. This is the world’s largest rainforest ecosystem, it spans 9 countries and is home to almost 30% of plant and animal species on Earth. This region has been suffering due to logging, unsustainable agriculture, and forest fires, and it is a high risk zone for deforestation and degradation. To help give back to this fascinating land we were able to plant 1700 new trees.

Finally, we were able to plant 300 trees in Australia! Australia has the seventh largest forest area in the world. Sadly, in 2020 they suffered from tragic bushfires that ruined the beautiful land. Not only are trees vital for human life but for animals as well. Australia is home to Koala’s, when we plant trees we are creating amazing habitats for these animals.
