STOCKHOLM WEEKEND GUIDE

2020 has probably not been what you thought it would be at the start of this year. But nothing is bad without being good for something! This year has been good for reflection and for learning how to appreciate new things that we might have taken for granted, such as our hometowns!

Since Bag-all has team members living around the globe, we decided to start a small staycation series, where we share our top tips from our home towns.

Check in at Miss Claras Hotel

Being from Stockholm, I’m happy to share my favorite spots around the city. I hope this will inspire you to explore your own hometown and to add Stockholm to your Bucket list!

FRIDAY -

Unpacked and ready to go

After checking in at Miss Claras Hotel, in the center of Stockholm we are ready to go out to enjoy the city.

The first stop is lunch! For this we head to Pom and Floras.

We love walking, and luckily Stockholm is a very walkable city, with sidewalks everywhere and not many hills. Since the weather is great we head to Djurgården to walk around the beautiful island.

After a long walk we head to Misshumasshu for dinner. Post dinner we continue for one last stop, a drink at A bar called Gemma.

What to Pack?

Some may say a staycation does not necessarily require a lot of packing. I would say, since you are close to home and don’t have to carry the luggage far, you can pack what ever you want!

For me that includes:

- shoes, one pair for walking and one pair for dinner & drinks.

- a couple of outfits, packed in separate packing cubes, so its easy to unpack.

- a purse and purse organizers, including earbuds case and sunglasses case

- toiletry case & make up case

SATURDAY - day 2, culture & Shopping

After a long sleep-in, we head to Café Pascal for brunch.

A brunch and endless cups of coffee later, we browse through some of our favorite stores, Arket and NK for some shopping, before going for another long walk.

We walk through the old town, towards Södermalm, where we go to my favorite museum Fotografiska. Since this museum is open until at least 10pm, there is no rush to get there.

We finish the day by having dinner at Supper and one last cocktail at Coquetel Social before we head back to the hotel.
